The Development Academy of the Philippines, through its Productivity and
Development Center (DAP-PDC), announces its call for entries for the Government Best Practice Recognition (GBPR). Public sector organizations who want to promote, showcase and share knowledge on their outstanding and innovative practices can submit their entries until 15 July 2021. A maximum of three (3) entries per agency is allowed.

In 2015, the GBPR was launched to serve as a harmonizing strategy to attain
the objective “to advance the public sector productivity movement” among Asian Productivity Organization (APO) member countries. Now, 6 years later, this prestigious recognition program still continues to celebrate outstanding innovations that have been proven effective and helpful in improving productivity and performance in the public sector. Last year, GBPR started the search for the GBPR COVID-19 response best practice. GBR opened the submission of entries on best practices in response to COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the course of its implementation, the GBPR has been judged by well-respected experts from the government. The same set of criteria, based on the criteria used by the International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) and the Philippine Quality Awards (PQA), is used in the initial screening and the presentation.

All GBPR finalists are endorsed to the prestigious International Best Practice
Competition (IBPC). A Certificate of Participation will be issued to each participating organization. A Plaque of Recognition is given to GBPR 2020 Recognized Best Practice.

Does your organization want to be recognized as a model agency for
continuous improvement and commitment to public service excellence to the Filipinos? Then, submit entries to the GBPR and be the face of the new and improved version of public service!
