{"id":705,"date":"2021-02-02T09:02:34","date_gmt":"2021-02-02T09:02:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/119.92.118.21\/?page_id=705"},"modified":"2021-03-08T09:58:06","modified_gmt":"2021-03-08T09:58:06","slug":"institutionalization-of-quality-management-system-qms-certifiable-to-iso-9001","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/pdc.dap.edu.ph\/index.php\/institutionalization-of-quality-management-system-qms-certifiable-to-iso-9001\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality Management System (QMS) Certifiable to ISO 9001"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There is a need&nbsp; for government agencies to improve quality in their operations and services in line with the Administration&#8217;s thrust to ensure \u2018real change\u2019 in the government.&nbsp;Executive Order No. 605, s. 2007 <em>Institutionalizing the Structure, Mechanisms and Standards to Implement the Government Quality&nbsp; Management Program,<\/em> was issued to all departments and branches of the Executive branch, including all government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) and government financial institutions, to&nbsp; effect improvements in public sector performance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DAP, as a member of the Technical Working Group on Advocacy and Capability-Building of the&nbsp; Government Quality Management Committee (GQMC), and as the National Productivity Organization, spearheads the development of productivity and promotes the principles, techniques, and practice of productivity,&nbsp; offers consulting services for the technical guidance and assistance to all government agencies for the Institutionalization of a Quality Management System (QMS) Certifiable to ISO 9001.
