The meeting served as an orientation on the Certified Productivity Specialist (CPS) scheme, providing clarity to the council\u2019s responsibilities, as well as a platform to gather inputs for the DAP\u2019s efforts towards championing productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certification Council Chairperson and DAP Executive Vice President Magdalena L. Mendoza led the meeting with key participation from Dr. Eduardo T. Gonzalez and Dr. Rey B. Fremista, representing the academe and industry respectively.\u00a0 Also in attendance were DAP CB Head of Certification Monica D. Saliendres and Certification Manager Yuri R. Munsayac.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from the discussions focusing on the certification standards and overall structure of the certification body, council members also examined the application and assessment process. Key points tackled were the selection of assessors, application and examination-related concerns, and process improvements to ensure a fair and flexible system.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DAP CB is committed to establishing a system that is credible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of productivity specialists.\u00a0 Aspiring specialists are encouraged to review the updated requirements on the DAP website to prepare for the next application cycle.
