The Development Academy of the Philippines, through its Government Quality Management Program, will be holding its fourth symposium on Service Quality Standards (SQS)  with the theme “Quality Service for all Filipinos” on May 11, 2023. The event will present the key results of the 2022 Whole-of-Government Citizen Satisfaction Survey to government service managers and staff from national government agencies and offices and oversight agencies, including the general public.

Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, chairperson of the Government Quality Management Committee, will discuss the significance of SQS and its role in improving bureaucratic efficiency and good governance at the symposium.

This year’s theme is aligned with the goal of the new Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 in terms of coming up with broader national government assessments using the whole-of-government citizen and business satisfaction surveys. “This year’s event builds upon that success and aims to complement the various efforts of the bureaucracy to meet citizens’ expectations of frontline government services,” says Productivity and Development Center-Productivity Development Research Office Director Monica Saliendres. The past three symposiums focused on measuring service quality, institutionalizing SQS, and using evidence-based SQS to delight citizens and business clients.
