The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through its Modernizing Government Regulations Program (MGRP), will hold a Public Forum on the 2025 Regulatory Review on December 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM via Zoom. The event focuses on validating the findings of the Post-Implementation Review (PIR) of the identified problematic regulation affecting the Small-scale Boat Building (SSBB) Industry.
This year’s PIRs examine regulations across priority industries including pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and electronics, telecommunications, the SSBB industry, and the Filipino migrant labor sector to determine whether these policies remain relevant, effective, and responsive to stakeholder needs. The forum will serve as a platform to validate study findings, gather stakeholder feedback, and ensure that proposed reforms are actionable and aligned with industry realities.
Industry representatives, regulators, business associations, academic institutions, civil society groups, and an invited external reactor are expected to participate. The session will present the key PIR findings and recommendations, followed by a structured feedback and integration process, and a discussion on the next steps forward.
Interested participants may register through the public forum link: https://bit.ly/PForumSSBB. Zoom details will be sent upon successful registration.
