The Development Academy of the Philippines, through its Productivity and Development Center, announces its call for entries for the Government Best Practice Recognition (GBPR). Public sector organizations that are interested to promote, showcase, and share knowledge on outstanding and innovative practices can submit their entries until 15 July 2022. A maximum of three entries per agency is allowed.
The GBPR was launched in 2015 to serve as a harmonizing strategy “to advance the public sector productivity movement” among Asian Productivity Organization member countries. Now, seven years later, this prestigious recognition program still continues to celebrate outstanding innovations that have been proven effective and helpful in improving productivity and performance in the public sector. And, with the onset of the pandemic, the search for the GBPR COVID-19 response best practice was also started in 2020.
Well-respected experts from the government serve as judges for the GBPR recipients and follow the same set of criteria being used by the International Best Practice Competition (IBPC) and the Philippine Quality Award in the initial screening and the final presentation. All selected finalists are endorsed to the prestigious IBPC.
Do you want your organization to be recognized as a model agency for continuous improvement and commitment to public service excellence among Filipinos? Then, you may now submit entries to the GBPR and become an exemplar of the new and improved version of public service!
