Some 25 officers, staff, and process owners from the John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC) completed a three-day course on risk management capability enhancement conducted by the Development Academy of the Philippines – Productivity and Development Center (DAP-PDC).

The participants, comprising JHMC’s Risk Management (RM) Core Team, were equipped with knowledge and skills aligned with the ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Guidelines, complementing the organization’s ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System (QMS). This enables them to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate risks thereby contributing significantly to JHMC’s risk management efforts and improving documentation for implementation.

“JHMC intends to strengthen its agency’s capacity to mitigate risks, enhance performance, and achieve its objectives by investing in the professional development of its RM Core Team,” said DAP-PDC Director Evangeline M. Macariola as she shares JHMC’s commitment to the GQMP project to pursue improvements in its quality management system and risk management process.
